Creation Awareness provides a variety of lessons that intrigue and excite each student about the wonders of God's living world. Each week includes experiences that not only lead to awareness of our Creators plans, put also shows students how to understand the wisdom behind the natural relationships around them. No animals (or students) will be harmed in these activities.
Creation Design and Purpose Grades 6-8

Creation Design and Purpose is a careful study of a broad spectrum of evidences that help illustrate the truth of the Genesis account of Creation. The flaws of evolution, both secular and theistic, will be revealed, but more importantly, the harmony between God's written Word and his magnificent world will be confirmed. All this will be built on the foundation of Scriptural authority.

Body systems are often studied, but in this session students will learn in creative and exciting ways the amazing story of God's plan for the miracle of life. From the cranium to the tarsus, experiments and visuals will illustrate how organs and systems work, cooperate, grow, and repair during the daily challenges of living. Each student will appreciate even more being a child of God.

If the earth is millions of years old, why does it look so young? The answer is found not only by studying the layers, rocks, and minerals that make it a treasure chest of resources, but also by experiencing how earthquakes, volcanoes, and the world-wide Flood of Genesis deposited and shaped its present form. This session will reveal how science and confidence in Scripture are uniquely related.

In this session, students will observe and appreciate how God designed the structures, abilities, and activities of living things so they can exist in harmony and glorify Him. They will learn that things such as polar bear fur, maple tree architecture, and ant highway routes can all illustrate the wisdom of the Creators plan for his world and for them.

Starting with a Scriptural basis, each student will learn not only how the earths resources contribute to life, but also how they can be used in responsible and enjoyable ways by following the natural laws that God has instituted. Students will understand how to put this into practice through simple and inexpensive ways, both in principle and in action starting with their own backyards.
